Susan Sullivan

Susan Sullivan is a self-taught fine artist based in Lexington, South Carolina, where she lives with her husband and two children. Her instinct for creating emerged early, was encouraged by her parents and supported through electives and extracurricular pursuits.

After earning a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Clemson University and spending seven years as a Registered Dietitian, Susan returned to painting in 2023. What began as a quiet, personal practice quickly evolved into a full-time career. Since then, her work has been featured in online galleries and in-person exhibitions, and is collected nationwide.

Her work centers on florals defined by layered surfaces and romantic movement. Inspired by botanicals, interior design, and motherhood, Susan creates paintings that balance traditional design sensibilities with a modern hand, bringing a sense of refined comfort and quiet elegance into the home.
