Susan Sullivan

Susan Sullivan is a fine artist based in Lexington, South Carolina. After earning a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Clemson University and working seven years as a Registered Dietitian, she returned to painting and established a full-time studio practice in 2023.

Susan describes her current body of work as a contemporary take on antique botanical studies. Inspired by her garden, European history, period architecture, and Old World craftsmanship, she combines botanical observation with layered surfaces and rich texture. Her work has been featured in juried exhibitions and gallery presentations and is held in private collections nationwide.
